Trivia: (only read this after you have heard the podmercial)
1. The pronunciation of French perfume 'Chanel Number 5' makes it sound like he's talking about a Television station. The master says 'channel number five'. This is a pronunciation joke, and not a reference to a particular TV station anywhere in the world.
2. The word 'Baster' in the phrase 'You rang Baster?' (it should have been 'Master') comes from an episode from the popular BBC series 'As time goes by' where Alistair (Philip Bretherton) says this phrase while he enters the room on his knees with a tray in his hand where Lionel (Geoffrey Palmer) is laying in bed, feeling sick.
3. At one point the servant mentions Bandaras, Red Caps and Campine chickens. These are genuine chicken breeds!
Here's a short list of official chicken breeds: 1. Bandara, 2. Lamona, 3. Sultan, 4. Red Cap, 5. Cornish, and 6. Campine
4. It took 2 hours to record & edit this podmercial. The second draft of the script was used.
